Information we collect
When you use the contact or enquiry forms on this website, we ask for your name, email address, telephone number and the content of your message. We collect this information only so that we can respond to your enquiry and, where relevant, discuss the accountancy and tax services we provide. We do not collect any information about you beyond what you choose to give us through these forms, and if you go on to become a client, any further information you provide as part of that engagement.
How we use your information
We use the details you submit to respond to your enquiry, to correspond with you about our services, and, if you become a client, to provide those services and meet our professional and regulatory obligations. Our legal basis for processing enquiry details is our legitimate interest in responding to prospective clients, and for client data it is the performance of our contract with you and compliance with our legal and regulatory obligations as a firm of Chartered Accountants. We do not use the information you submit through our forms for marketing purposes without your separate consent.
Cookies
This website currently uses only strictly necessary cookies, for example to enable our contact forms to function securely. These essential cookies do not require your consent under UK law, as the site cannot operate properly without them. We do not currently use any analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. If this changes in future, we will update this policy and ask for your consent where required before any non-essential cookies are set.
Sharing your information
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data. Your information may be shared with trusted service providers who help us operate this website (such as our website hosting and form provider) or deliver our services on our behalf, and, where necessary, with HMRC, Companies House or other regulatory bodies to meet our professional obligations. We do not transfer your personal data outside the UK.
Data retention
We retain personal data submitted through our forms only for as long as is necessary to respond to your enquiry. If you become a client, we retain client records for the period required by our professional and legal obligations as a firm of Chartered Accountants, typically at least six years, after which records are securely destroyed.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:
- Ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Ask us to correct any inaccurate or incomplete data
- Ask us to delete your data, where we are not required to keep it for legal or regulatory reasons
- Ask us to restrict how we use your data, or to object to certain processing
- Ask us to provide your data in a portable format, where applicable
- Withdraw consent at any time, where we rely on consent to process your data
To exercise any of these rights, please contact us using the details below. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk if you believe we have not handled your personal data correctly.
Keeping your data secure
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect the personal data we hold from unauthorised access, loss or misuse.
Children’s data
This website and our services are not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under the age of 18.
